English 421:

  • Students brought in their narrative writing pieces and participated in peer revision.  We did 3 rounds, where in each round a peer read their story, focusing on specific write traits and providing feedback.  Students are to use this feedback to help guide their revisions over the weekend.
  • For Monday: students must submit a polished copy of their narrative writing assignment, complete with all the pre-writing and revision pieces (cover page – title, author, date, teacher’s name & course, neatly presented – preferably typed – copy, the character profile worksheet, the storyboarding sheet, the peer revision sheet, and the grading rubric – on the reverse of the assignment sheet)

English 431:

  • Mrs. Bradley book talked the novel choices for the course, and students selected a novel and spent some time reading.  Some students shared their collage/crest with Mrs. Charlton.
